We worked with our customers, Pete and Sue Ward, to create clever and stylish storage solutions for their master bedroom, so that they could enhance the space as much as possible. We worked with them to create a bespoke design using our sliding wardrobe doors and internal storage systems, in order to complement their space and reflect their style.
What the bedroom looked like before
Our customer’s beautiful 1970’s home formed part of a large functioning farm for many years in Derbyshire, although the farm is no longer in use the land remained in the Ward family for generations. Pete grew up on the farm with his mother and father and many years later raised his own children there, the farm holds many special memories for both Pete and Sue.
They recently decided to completely renovate their home it into a stylish, modern, family space perfect for just the two of them…. and for their visiting grandchildren!
Being an older property, the whole-house renovation came with various challenges,” says Pete. “The house offered great potential, but it was a surprisingly complex space, we stripped the house back to basics and pretty much designed our dream home from scratch, it was extremely rewarding seeing everything come together so well.”
They chose Spaceslide to help renovate their bedrooms and utilise their storage as they were aware of our abilities in creating bespoke solutions for even the most awkward of spaces.
Our customers were looking for sliding wardrobes for three bedrooms and some hallway storage. We were excited to work on such a beautiful property, our team carried out a design visit and assessed the best storage options to complement the space and style of the house.
After our initial design visit, our customers opted for our Signature range in Stone Grey with Grey Mirror on a triple track system for their master bedroom, allowing for extra space and easier access across the entire wardrobe. They opted for a large angular panel above the wardrobe They also cleverly utilised extra storage space within the Master bedroom, by creating a separate hallway wardrobe.
