Lauren and her family moved into their stunning new build home in the North-East earlier this year, our sliding wardrobes were offered as an additional extra in their Master Bedroom, Lauren was so pleased with the wardrobes she chose Spaceslide to design and install wardrobes for her new dressing room. Lauren has a keen eye for all things interiors and we were really excited to work with her, she opted for our Shaker wardrobes in the Master Bedroom in Cashmere and Bronze Mirror, these look stunning and suit the overall aesthetic and style of the home.

We helped transform one of her smaller bedrooms into a practical and stylish dressing room, with a large L shaped sliding wardrobe, helping to maximise wall space and create a large amount of storage. She opted for our Shaker wardrobe in Cashmere, with our large 450mm integrated tower unit with a drawers and shelf mix, to create a beautiful and plentiful storage.

We caught up with Lauren in her new space to see how she was getting on…

• Were you wanting to achieve anything specific when designing your wardrobe and dressing room? 

We converted one of our spare bedrooms into a dressing room, I had always dreamed of creating a space in which I could really call my own, a peaceful area I could get ready in, with plenty of space and storage. 

I opted for a large L shape wardrobe, to maximise storage by making the most of our wall space, lots of storage was definitely a must.  I also wanted the majority of the wardrobe to be hanging space, allowing plenty of space for trousers, skirts and dresses.

For the wardrobes in our master bedroom, I really wanted to create a luxurious yet chic styled room, which definitely matches the overall aesthetic of our home.  I was so impressed with the huge collection of colours and finishes Spaceslide had available, I was able to create the exact look I had envisaged. 

• Why did you choose Spaceslide?

We moved into our new build home in February 2023. When choosing optional extras for our home we decided to get wardrobes fitted in our main bedroom. When we moved into our home and saw the wardrobes for the first time we were blown away with how they looked, the quality and the space inside of them. These were installed by Spaceslide so there was no doubt that we’d be using them again.

• What was your space like before your transformation? 

Before Spaceslide’s help, the dressing room was cluttered and chaotic.  I had hanging rails everywhere and there wasn’t much floor space to move around the room to find what I needed. We were definitely in need of a transformation!

• What’s the best thing about your new space? 

Having the wardrobes in both the dressing room and master bedroom makes every day getting ready a dream! It’s easy to keep everything tidy and organised with the amount of storage and hanging inside the wardrobes.

• How did you find the whole order/installation process?

Flawless from start to finish. The Spaceslide team helped me really bring my dream to life, they chatted through different storage options, colours and finishes, they were patient and super helpful throughout the whole design process. The installation was so quick and the team were amazing.

• How do you best describe your interior style?

My interior style is definitely a mix or minimalist, scandi and shabby! I love having a space for everything and things being bright and airy. I feel like I thrive in light space!
