Professional Sliding Wardrobe Installation

We offer a fixed price installation service which is charged from £349 per wardrobe (subject our virtual survey). Please note: after the virtual survey has been completed, a surcharge may be required if an extra labourer is needed in the property due to an extensive workload. This could entail an oversized track, large doors or multiple interiors that cannot reasonably be carried out by one fitter. We’re able to offer this competitively priced service based on some really simple rules and expectations.

All our installation work carries a two year guarantee on the fit and all Spaceslide sliding doors comes with a minimum of ten year warranty on moving parts.

Our service comes with a survey carried out on the phone, before we begin the manufacture of your wardrobe system. On this call we’ll talk you through the next steps and double check your measurements have been taken correctly and that the area is free from any obstacles which might prevent our installation team completing their work in the agreed time frames.

If you have chosen installation you will be contacted by our team to discuss next steps and make arrangements for both the virtual survey and subsequent installation. This call will typically take place within two working days of your online transaction and may require a video call using FaceTime or Skype.

We strive to offer installation within 6 weeks of your transaction but advise that this can on occasion (seasonal spikes, remote locations) be longer. Installation dates will be discussed and agreed on the above mentioned call.

When installing a wardrobe with a soft close mechanism on top of carpet or in a new-build house, there are occasions where the bottom liner and track on the wardrobe may eventually drop or compress over time. This may be due to the carpet and underlay further compressing under the weight of the wardrobe, or in the case of a new-build property, the floor settling over time, particularly when the room is full of furniture and possessions. This may mean that your soft close may no longer engage and function as it should. If on the rare occasion this happens, the soft close mechanism can easily be adjusted to drop down the soft close pin. We have a video and self-help guide to do this which can be provided by our Customer Support team, if required.

The use of liners is mandatory when purchasing installation from Spaceslide.co.uk; if you have selected our installation services in the configurator you will not be able to remove liners from your product purchase. Click here for more information on liners.
