How To Fit Wardrobe End Panels
Position your Spaceslide sliding wardrobe in your room effortlessly with our extensive range of wardrobe end panels. Choose from our selection of high quality finishes and follow our simple installation guide below.
-
Check for any electrical wires or water pipes before you begin screwing.
-
Measure the ceiling height of where you’ll need the end panel to go.This should be close to the wall and at the front of the wardrobe
-
Take these measurements and apply them to the wardrobe end panel. Draw a line on the panel between the two measurements. Use this as the guide to cut down your panel using a wood saw.
-
Position the wardrobe end panel to check the fit is correct using a spirit level.
-
Hold the wardrobe end panel in position. Use a compass to mark the shape of your skirting boards on the end panel and ensure the panel fits over it perfectly.
-
With a coping saw, cut the panel to the required measurements of the skirting boards.
-
Before securing the panel, adjust it so that it fits the space. Then, level the panel up again and mark the position on the ceiling, floor and wall. Remember to use an internal measurement to mark the panel up.
-
Place the wardrobe end panel to one side. Based on the marked lines, fix the fixing blocks to the ceiling, floor and wall using the correct plug and screw type for the surface you’re working on. If you are unsure of which fixing you need, take a look at our guide.
-
Place the end panel onto the wall and fix in place. We recommend using 16mm screws to ensure it is secured in place.
